What Ozync does that Fresha doesn't
- A check-in kiosk at the door, where walk-ins sign in, pick a stylist and sign a waiver.
- A per-stylist queue on the waiting-room TV and a text when it is their turn.
- QR and NFC tap signs so clients join from their phone.
- A website on your own domain, with no marketplace branding between you and the client.
- Your choice of processor: Stripe with Tap to Pay on iPhone, or the Square or Clover you already have.
- No fee on new clients and no per-stylist pricing. The client who found you on Google is yours, and your sixth stylist costs nothing extra.
What Fresha does that Ozync doesn't
Fresha runs a consumer marketplace with its own app and search, and can send you clients who were browsing for a salon nearby. Ozync has no marketplace. If discovery through the Fresha app is where your new clients come from, keep it for that; Ozync works alongside it for walk-ins, and shops often run both for a while before moving bookings over.
Moving over
- 1Create your business in Ozync and add your services, staff and hours, about ten minutes. Import your client list from a CSV export.
- 2Put the kiosk on a tablet at the door and the TV display on the wall; walk-ins are handled from day one.
- 3Publish your Ozync website and point your Instagram and Google Business Profile booking link at it.
- 4Keep your old account live until the bookings have moved; nothing in Ozync depends on cancelling it.
