Ozync
FOR BARBERSHOPS

Barbershop Check-In App: Pick Your Barber, Watch the Line

A barbershop line is really five lines, one per chair, and everyone in the room is counting heads. Ozync puts a tablet at the door where a client taps his barber's name and sits down, a TV on the wall that shows each barber's queue, and a text that says the chair is open. No sign-in sheet, no "who's next?", no barber stopping mid-fade to count.

Free for your first 100 clients. Then $15/mo billed annually, or $20 month to month. No per-booking fees.

How a barbershop runs on it

  1. 1A client walks in and taps Join on the tablet. He types his name and picks his barber, or First available.
  2. 2He's in that barber's queue. The TV shows every barber's line, so he can see he's third for Mike and go get a coffee.
  3. 3The barber finishes a cut, glances at his phone, and taps Notify. The client gets a text that the chair is open.
  4. 4Served takes him off the list; the next name moves up on the TV. Checkout, if you use it, opens from the same row.
  5. 5At closing, Serve all clears whoever is left as served or as no-shows, and the day's count is in your recap email.

Built for walk-ins, not just appointments

Most barbershop apps are booking calendars with a walk-in button bolted on. Ozync starts from the walk-in. The kiosk, the per-barber queue and the TV are the core; appointments are there for the barbers who take them, on the same list, so a booked client and a walk-in never collide.

  • Per-barber queues with a First available option.
  • Appointments next to walk-ins on each barber's list and on the TV.
  • Estimated wait per barber, from how long cuts actually take.
  • QR code and NFC tap sign on the door, so clients can join from the parking lot.

The TV on the wall

The display runs on a Fire TV Stick or a Samsung or LG smart TV and links to the shop with a six-digit code. It shows every barber's queue by name, so the room knows the order without asking. Themes made for barbershops: Barbershop, Fade Room, Gentlemen, dark with a stripe of color.

Checkout at the chair

Take the card at the chair with Tap to Pay on iPhone, no reader, or keep the Square Terminal you already use. Tips on the client's screen, a receipt by text, cash in the drawer if you run one. Refunds and the day's totals per barber are in Transactions.

Your website and your reviews

Every shop gets a site at yourname.ozync.com with hours, prices, the barbers and a Book button, in a barbershop theme. After a visit, Ozync can text a Google review request, so the five-star reviews come from the clients who were just in the chair.

Pricing

Ozync is free for your first 100 clients, no card required. After that it is $15 a month billed annually or $20 month to month, flat. The kiosk, the waitlist, the TV display, texts, waivers, online booking and your website are all included; there are no per-booking fees, no marketplace commission and no per-device fees.
