The consent form, done right
- Your text, not a template you cannot change: age confirmation, health questions, allergies, medications, blood conditions, pregnancy, aftercare acknowledgement, photo consent.
- Yes/no and free-text questions, with the answers stored next to the signature.
- Signed with a finger on the screen, timestamped, filed as a PDF on the client's record and emailed to the shop and the client.
- Separate templates for tattoos and piercings, each linked to its services, so the right form comes up.
- Records are never deleted. A form signed three years ago is still there with the exact text that was signed.
Walk-ins by artist
After signing, the client picks their artist, or first available, and is on the list. Each artist sees their own queue on their phone and marks a client served when they are done; the next one gets a text. The queue can run on a TV in the front if you want the shop to see the order without asking.
Flash days and conventions: the kiosk handles a line of forty with no one at the desk, and every one of them has signed.
Booked sessions with a deposit
For custom work, online booking on your Ozync site takes a deposit on the last step, a flat amount or a percentage, with your policy and a box the client must tick. The deposit comes off the bill at checkout. The consent form is sent with the booking so it is signed before the session, not during it.
Checkout and gift cards
- Checkout at the chair: Tap to Pay on iPhone, an Ozync terminal, or your Square or Clover. Tips, text receipts, refunds.
- Gift cards sold from your site and at the counter, redeemed by code or QR.
- A client record per phone number: every session, every signed form, every payment.
What Ozync is not
Ozync does not check IDs or verify age for you; the form records the client's confirmation and your staff check the ID as they do now. It is not a tattoo-specific design or portfolio tool. It is the counter: the form, the line, the booking and the payment.
