What Ozync adds
- A check-in kiosk so walk-ins sign themselves in and pick a stylist, on an iPad or Android tablet.
- The queue on the waiting-room TV, with appointments alongside.
- Texts when it's their turn, and QR or NFC signs to join from a phone.
- Your choice of processor: Tap to Pay on iPhone with Stripe, or the Square Terminal you already own.
- An AI receptionist that answers missed calls from your own prices and hours and books appointments.
What GlossGenius does well
GlossGenius is clean, fast and made for a solo stylist who books every client ahead. Its marketing tools and client notes are good. If you never take a walk-in, you may not need what Ozync adds. If you run a shop where half the day walks in, the kiosk and the TV pay for the switch on the first Saturday.
Moving over
- 1Create your business and add your services, prices and hours.
- 2Put the kiosk on a tablet and the TV display on the wall.
- 3Publish your Ozync website and move the booking link in your Instagram bio and Google Business Profile.
- 4Keep your current processor or set up Stripe; either way checkout works from the client's row.
